Future Planning
CETL endeavors to be a professional and lifelong learning center to facilitate andragogy inspired teaching and learning; to effectively apply and integrate e-learning or electronic technologies for online, distance, virtual and blended modes of education; to train faculty for 21st century teaching and learning, to prepare staff for adaptation to interactive digital media development, usage, and application; to administer and enhance the university’s Learning Management System and to prepare, assist in deployment and innovate emerging technologies through continuous renewal.
For these concerns, the Strategic Issues and Directions are
1. Capacity development of the faculty members, students and admin officials
- Identifying capacity development needs
- Developing required programs for addressing those needs
- Allocating proper financial and technical support
2. Establishing Material Development Wing
- Ensuring optimum utilization of existing human resources at GUB
- Recruiting Ed-Tech Expert/ program developer for resource development
- Preparing a ToR for the assigned personnel of the wing
- Allocating required budget
3. Continuous Assessment and Evaluation
- Strengthening the formative and summative system of assessment and Evaluation
- Mainstreaming the new ideas and thinking for effective assessment and evaluation.
4. Innovation for Quality Education
- Exploring the areas of innovation for quality education
- Adapting the current innovation and best practices both for F2F and online Teaching Learning
- Incorporating the suggestion given by the Outcome Based Education (OBE) in course curriculum and syllabus.
